Garden
Our new garden. Having removed a huge shed that was here when we bought this house, we had the concrete lifted and topsoil put down,
It’s been a very busy year…charity card making, creating a new garden, visitors from the US and a return to painting all kept me on my toes. As a volunteer with the garden group for the local Family Resource Centre we won a joint 1st place for biodiversity, with a prize of €300 to help purchase seeds plants and maybe a tree for next year…. The knitting and crochet group is going strong too, the ladies producing beautiful work for themselves and for charities. Sadly we lost one of our lovely ladies this year, a wonderfully talented lady, RIP.
Line dancing came back this year too so getting some much needed exercise again.

A bit late collecting my elderberries but finally got them.. on the way I found a wonderful amount of big juicy blackberries. I have not seen them this good for the past few years. I wonder is it a sign of a cold winter? So elderberries are cleaned and frozen and blackberries with some apple added are now in 6 pots of lovely autumn jam. Love Autumn and love nature..
